Asher came to visit Aiden

Asher came to visit Aiden on Saturday afternoon.
He wanted to feed Aiden milk and told him to recover fast.
Aiden seems to know that Brother Asher is here.

Aiden is finally discharge on 13/11/11. Daddy and Mummy is very happy. The night before, the nurses actually helped Daddy to take care of Aiden in the night to allow Daddy to sleep.
Really need to thanks all the nurses in KKH. They have been very professional in their work and is very attentive.

Poor Aiden going for Blood Test

To determine the antibiotic does not exceed the dosage for Aiden, the doctor did a blood test.
The doc took 1.5 ml of blood to test 3 test.
One for the potassium test, the other for the antibiotics.
They took the blood from Aiden's hands plug.
The blood flow was very slow but still manage to take it from the syringe.
However, in the evening, the blood test shows the potassium is high and the antibiotics has excess in the body.
The doc suggest for a blood test to confirm the potassium level.
There will be another test tomorrow morning to test the antibiotics again.
Daddy told the nurse that there are signs of blood on the plug.
Thus, the doc manage to change and insert a plug on his right hand.

Aiden was not used to his right hand that was tied down as he could not suck his fingers.

Poor Aiden is Hospitalised

Poor Aiden has a high fever and was hospital when we went to KKH on 05 Nov 11.
He is just 16 days n had to draw blood, urine and even fluid from his spine.
It is required to determine the cause of the fever.
He was given the antibiotics in the evening.
His left hand was inserted with a plug to allow medicine and water to be given.

On the third day, he was confirmed to have urinary tract infection.
Doctor told us that he had to be on antibiotics for at least 4 months. to prevent scarring of the kidney.
After which, he has to go through a dye test inserted into his body thru the hands n penis to determine any damage to his kidney all the way down to his penis.

Daddy brought him for the ultrascan on Tuesday 8 Nov 2011. The doc said that his left kidney has slight infection. It might be the cause of the fever. Hope he recover soon.

Aiden is 6 days old

Aiden is 6 days old. Today he went for his first checkup at Aglow.
There are couples of questions to ask Dr Ong.
Fortunately, all went well. However, Aiden has a high level of Jaundice. Its 14.8.
Thus he need to be admitted to TMC again. Poor thing.

Aiden is wide awake and was looking around the area.

Aiden was pushed to the Jaundice treatment room shortly.

Daddy went to see Aiden in the evening. He was sound asleep. However, he is giggling and smiling. Really hope that Aiden will recover soon..

Aiden is 3 days old

Aiden is 3 days old. Today Asher come and visit his little brother, Aiden.
However, Aiden was pushed back to the ward as it has past the visiting hours.
Aiden had his hand and foot print on the 3rd day unlike Asher who took it on the 6th day. Aiden was sound asleep during the process.

Finally, Asher get to see Aiden and we had a family photo together.

Arrival of Aiden

Shortly after our porridge, Mummy complained about stomach pain.
We went to TMC on the 19 Oct 2011 at 310am. Mummy went to the labour ward for checkup.
She is constantly checked for contraction. Mummy was advised to be hospitalised.
Doc gave mummy ventolin to try to delay the contractions.
However, after the ventolin, Mummy was constantly breathless and had fast heartbeat.
Finally in the evening, the ventolin was taken out. The nurse told us that if she still had signs of contraction, it maybe a sign that baby might come out soon.
At 315am on 20 Oct, Daddy received a call from Mummy and said she felt contractions.
Daddy went down immediately and the doc also went down.
Doc said that he wants to deliver the baby. However, at this time, there was no surgeon available for epidural. Mummy went for GA instead.

Daddy was sad that he cannot enter thot he prepared cameras.

Soon, the child doc came out and told Daddy baby is fine.
However, he need to be in ICU for couples of hours just to be sure nothing goes wrong.
Daddy was happy to see little Aiden. He is still sleeping and gosh, he look just like Mummy.
He weighs 2.88kg. Heavier than Asher.
True enough, one of his leg was straight.. He has a lot of hair.

Daddy asked how is mummy doing and doc said she is still recuperting and will be back to the room soon.
Although Mummy din say anything, Daddy felt that she was in a lot of pains. Her voice was weak.

                                         Mummy wanted to see Aiden very much but she needs to wait for him to come down from the ICU. Aiden was very red. This name seems to fit him a lot. " Little Fiery".

After bathing, Aiden looks more handsome..

It's number 38 weeks

Today we finally saw Aiden's face. According
To Mummy, he had a thick lip. Daddy reach home ard 2230.
We went to Toa Payoh to eat Taiwan Porridge.
Mummy felt abdominal pain during eating n on the wayback.
We went to tmc at 330am.
Mummy ws pushed to the labour ward for monitoring.

It's 36 weeks n counting. We can see Aiden in another 16 days.
Asher has been telling his relative about his brother's name.
Mummy n daddy are constantly watching for signs of labour. Aiden is actively moving n shifting places. Mummy find it harder to sleep.

its 36weeks already. Today is 10 Oct 201.. Dr call mummy to change the timing from 3pm to 4pm.
Mummy ask for earlier timing and 830am was the earliest. At night, mummy and daddy was searching for the tong Su but all the shop was closed. We are trying to find out which timing is the best.

Clever Mummy selected the 830 time slot as mummy can eat at night and rest at midnight.

                                              We can literally see the baby's shape. I think mummy is still scared of the C-Section. Today Mummy had some discharge and the doctor told her to see him tmw. Hope mummy is going to be alright.

We went to Taman Sentosa for our maternity photoshoot with Asher.
It was a tiring day.
